Hobson Forest Garden

This multilayered forest garden is in its third year of evolution. We included radical amounts of diversity with a meandering meditative path through the various garden beds.

Project Components:

• Soil remediation (previous owners had buried piles of trash on site)

• Tree planting (windbreak, edible hedgerows, bird habitat)

• Seeding of wildflower meadows

• Mushroom inoculated mulch and compost

• Stonework - paths, raised kitchen herb beds, habitat boulders

• Drip irrigation system
